EL MISTICISMO DE LOS ESPÍRITUS MARGINALES
This is the Spanish original of an article which is due to appear shortly in English in the proceedings of the 16th World Congress of the International Association for the History of Religions held in Mexico in 1995, where it will bear the title "The mystic of the marginal spirits". It offers a panoramic view of various features of religious life in Latin America, emphasizing variety and creative spiritual innovation. Special reference is given to Brazil, where the author resides and works, and which he describes as "a great laboratory of creative and intense religious movements".
