Editorial 2025 Michael Pye The first issue of Marburg Journal of Religion was published in 1996 under the editorship of the present writer. The current year, 2025, is therefore the thirtieth year of its appearance. On this occasionit seems appropriate to sum up some of the characteristics and perspectives of the journal, and also to express gratitude to all who have given support over the years, whether editorially or technically.
