KonsortSWD: Vom Netzwerk zur integrierten Dateninfrastruktur der Gesellschaftsforschung

SWD - Strengthen, Widen, Deepen: this is how the consortium for the social, educational, behavioral and economic sciences understands its role within the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI): to expand and integrate the existing infrastructure for research data management. In order to make socially relevant, and often sensitive, data available for research, KonsortSWD builds on well-proven structures that are closely linked to the scientific community. We integrate existing elements more strongly and systematically make new data, e.g. qualitative research data, accessible. The German Data Forum (RatSWD) plays a central role in this context. As an elected body, it articulates the needs of the professional communities and promotes the strategic development of the infrastructure.
