Furthermore, the interdisciplinarity and the applied perspective of the discipline is outlined and illustrated by an exemplary questionnaire of relevant subject areas and their disciplines of reference. These characteristics of the subject conduct to the necessity to precede a research project with detailed considerations of the theoretical framework and the methodological orientation and to reflect on these in the research process.
