Specifically, the presentation examines the interactive dynamics in language classrooms from a didactic perspective. The second part of the paper delves into the concept of teachers' interactional competence. Various models are presented to showcase the diverse possibilities for characterizing this competence. Drawing on data from multiple studies, the paper elucidates how teachers manifest their interactional competence through specific actions.
