Author Biography

• Svenja Reiner

  Svenja Reiner, MA, is currently pursuing her doctorate in Musicology at the University of Wuppertal. Her dissertation focuses on fandom in Contemporary Art Music (CAM). She has served as a research fellow at the Institute for Music (Osnabrück) and the Institute for Cultural Policy (Bonn), and has taught Popular Musicology, Literary Studies, and Cultural Policy at several universities. Her academic interests include listening and reading ideals, fandom across high and popular culture, digital identity formation, and amateur culture.
