Author Biography

  • Anne Ganzert, Philipps-Universität Marburg

    Anne Ganzert is a media studies scholar and PI of the Emmy Noether research group “Web Sleuthing. Media Practices of Crime-Related Online Investigations” at Philipps-Universität Marburg. Previously, she coordinated the CRC initiative “Serious Gaming” and was affiliated with the Center for Human | Data | Society at the University of Konstanz. Her research focuses on participatory culture, digital media practices, fan studies, seriality, and crime-related online investigations. She is particularly interested in the intersections of media theory, platform cultures, and contemporary forms of collective knowledge production.
