Author Biography

  • Katherine Kekelidze

    Katherine Kekelidze, M.Sc., is a psychologist specialized in educational and media psychology. As a research assistant at the Interdisciplinary Center for University Teaching and Learning at Goethe University of Frankfurt (2022-2025), she taught courses in core competencies, coordinated a peer teaching project, delivered peer teacher training with accompanying scholarship of teaching and learning research, and provided consultation to students and teaching staff. Currently an independent scholar, her research interests include media engagement (e.g., parasocial processes, media fandom as social identity), entertainment effects, and storytelling in higher education.
