Author Biographies

• Elias Fromm, University of Vienna

  Elias Fromm, MA, is a PhD candidate as well as an external lecturer at the Institute for Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna where they also received their Bachelor‘s and Master‘s degree. Their research focuses on the media politics of cuteness and care from the perspective of disability media studies. 

• Sophia Weißer

  Sophia Weißer, MA, worked for several years as a student assistant in the field of equal opportunity at universities and contributed to a research project investigating sexist discrimination within the Saxon police force. She holds a BA in Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice and an MA in Cultural Studies. Previously, she worked as a student assistant in the field of equal opportunity and on a research project regarding discrimination within the police force. Main research areas: action films, film sociology and gender.
